The Affordable Housing Alliance Program:

The Affordable Housing Alliance is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization (not for profit public benefit corporation) that specializes in affordable housing and developing affordable housing solutions.

The Affordable Housing Alliance is engaged in developing innovative strategies to improve the nation's affordable housing supply while promoting affordable housing and home ownership opportunities. One of these strategies is the Affordable Housing Alliance's down payment and closing costs gift funds program popularly known as the AHA Program.

The Affordable Housing Alliance Program provides Gift Funds for home buyers through a grant from The Affordable Housing Alliance.

The AHA Program provides as allowable a Qualified Buyer's down payment and/ or the closing costs required to purchase an Eligible Home. Qualified buyers purchasing Eligible Homes receive a gift of up to five percent (5%) of the contract sales price of the subject property. Eligible Home purchases are financed through lenders who are Registered with the AHA Program and who participate in loan programs that are eligible for use under the Affordable Housing Alliance Program ("Eligible Loan Program"). Under the Affordable Housing Alliance Program, Qualified Buyers are able to purchase and finance homes which will then be owner-occupied by qualifying for a mortgage loan with an approved and Registered Lender.
